PURPOSE: Marriage is a gift from God. Marriage is important to God. Marriage is a picture of God’s love for his people—Christ as the groom and the Church as his bride. Marriage matters to God. In the first marriage, Adam and Eve “were both naked, and they felt no shame.” (Genesis 2:25) Being naked was not merely about the absence of clothing.  Rather it pointed to the depth of emotional intimacy Adam and Eve shared with each other and God.  In their “nakedness,” they experienced no shame.  There was freedom from all fears, acceptance, safety, trust, joy and delight – qualities many couples desire but few enjoy.

This conference is grounded in the biblical foundation for marriage as the framework for growing intimacy. Furthermore, speakers Alice Kim and Pastor Sam Kim will apply practical principles and implications to your current relationship. Discover what God’s will for marriages and rediscover the true purpose of what it means when we say, “I do,” until death due us part.

Do you have to be married to attend?

The simple answer to this question is a no. We highly encourage singles, dating, and engaged couples alike to attend. In fact, to learn the biblical framework of what marriage should look like would be an invaluable gift for anyone pursuing marriage.

Do I have attend the conference in its entirety?

We understand that it might be difficult to set aside time on a Friday evening and all day Saturday to attend a conference. To get the most out of the conference we highly encourage all participants to be fully present from start to finish, but we do understand that there are extenuating circumstances.

Is there a discount if I attend the conference partially?

We hope that you can join us for the entirety of the conference, but if you cannot, the cost will be the same for all participants.

Will there be financial assistance?

We understand that finances can be tight and events like a church conference are an investment and can be costly for a family. We have tried to make the pricing affordable.

Will there be additional resources at the conference?

Yes! We believe that there is a wealth of knowledge and experience from others. There will be books on marriage that will be available for purchase at the conference.

What will I need to bring to the conference?

We will provide great teaching, notes, pens, snacks, water, and yummy food. All you need to do is bring yourself.

Can I invite my friends or family?

Yes and No? Because of the limited space at our venue, we are only able to have up to 100 people. We will give first priority to the people that consider ANCC their primary local church for until the first week of September. For those who do not attend ANCC, they are more than welcome to register, but will be put on a waiting list until further notice.
